What a session can include
Meningococcal ACWY vaccine
Required by Saudi Arabia for every pilgrim aged 1 and above. We use a conjugate vaccine, valid for up to 5 years. The certificate must be issued at least 10 days before arrival.
Influenza vaccine
Strongly recommended for all pilgrims, especially older adults and those with chronic illness.
Pre-travel health check
History and medication review, blood pressure, BMI and physical examination — with chest X-ray and ECG for pilgrims aged 60 and above.
Blood tests where needed
Sugar, kidney function and blood count for pilgrims with diabetes or high blood pressure, so conditions are under control before departure.
Pneumococcal vaccine
For pilgrims aged 65 and above, or with diabetes, heart, lung or kidney disease.
Medication and travel advice
Supply for the whole trip, doctor’s letter for insulin and controlled medicines, heat and hydration advice.

Certificates and summary
Each pilgrim receives their certificate; the agency receives the invoice and the completion list.
Plan backwards from your departure date
- 3–4 weeks before departure: ideal time for the group session
- At least 10 days before arrival in Saudi Arabia: latest date for the meningococcal certificate
- 1 week before the session: confirm numbers so vaccine stock can be reserved
- Minimum 10 pilgrims per group session

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum group size?
10 pilgrims per session. Smaller groups and individuals are welcome to walk in or book as usual.
Can you come to our office or surau?
Yes. For groups we can run the session at your premises, subject to a suitable space and date. Tell us your location when you request a quotation.
How much notice do you need?
At least one week, so we can reserve enough vaccine — demand rises sharply before Hajj season and school holidays.
What should pilgrims bring?
IC or passport, any previous meningococcal vaccination certificate, a list of current medicines, and their health record if they have chronic illness.
Do children need the vaccine?
Yes — Saudi Arabia requires it for all pilgrims aged 1 year and above. Our doctor will advise the right dose for each child.
Will the agency see pilgrims’ medical results?
No. The agency receives only a completion list. Medical findings are explained to each pilgrim personally.
